For hotels

Your rooms, your restaurant, one guest list.

Dinesurf gives hotels room booking on their own website, a front desk that knows who is arriving, and the restaurant’s tables, events and orders alongside, with every guest who stays or dines in one Guestbook.

The problem

Rooms in one system. The restaurant in another.

Room bookings arrive by phone, WhatsApp and the booking sites, the restaurant keeps its own book, and the guest who stayed three nights and dined twice is a stranger to both.

Front desk · morning

Who’s arriving today?

Bookings sit across WhatsApp, a spreadsheet and the phone, and housekeeping hears about check-outs last.

  • WhatsApp
  • Spreadsheet
Restaurant · evening

Tables nobody can see.

Hotel guests and walk-ins book the restaurant in a separate book, with no deposits on the busy nights.

Marketing · next month

The guest has gone home.

Nobody kept their details, so there is no way to invite them back for a weekend or a dinner.

Everyone who books a room or a table lands in your Guestbook. Newsletters and automations bring them back for the next stay or dinner.

01 · Rooms, booked online

Rooms booked and paid on your own website.

Set up your room types with photos, beds and amenities, and rate plans such as room only or bed and breakfast, each with its own nightly price, minimum stay and cancellation policy. Guests choose their dates and a room, pay online, and get their confirmation by email and WhatsApp.

02 · The front desk

Every arrival and departure, on one screen.

The hotel overview shows today’s arrivals and departures and every room by status. Checking a guest in marks the room occupied, checking out sends it to housekeeping, and rooms under maintenance stop taking bookings. Walk-ins and phone bookings go in from the desk, paid in cash, by card or by transfer.

03 · Extras and late checkout

Late checkout and extras, sold before they ask.

From their booking page, guests add a late checkout, an airport pickup or anything else you sell, and pay for it online. Late checkout is only offered as far as the next arrival and your cleaning time allow, and your team can add charges at the desk too.

Questions

Dinesurf for hotels, answered

Can guests book rooms on our own website?

Yes. Your Dinesurf hotel website has room booking built in: guests choose their dates and a room, pick a rate plan and pay online. Bookings taken by phone or at the desk go in from the dashboard or the app.

How do guests pay for rooms?

Online through Paystack, in naira, when they book. At the desk, your team marks a booking as paid in cash, by card on your terminal or by bank transfer.

Can we take a deposit instead of the full amount?

Not for rooms yet: online room bookings are paid in full, and each rate plan’s cancellation policy sets the refund if a guest cancels. Your restaurant’s table bookings can take deposits.

Does Dinesurf connect to Booking.com or Expedia?

Not today. Dinesurf takes the bookings that come to you directly, on your website, by phone and at the desk, and keeps those guests in your Guestbook.

Can our restaurant use Dinesurf too?

Yes. We add a restaurant account to your hotel for free, for its table bookings, deposits, events, menu and orders. Each restaurant after the first is ₦18,000 a month in Nigeria, or $32 a month elsewhere.

Is there an app for the front desk?

Yes. Room types, rooms, bookings, extras and booking settings are in the Dinesurf app as well as on the web, and new room bookings arrive as notifications.
